Big Ben witnesses the transformation of Westminster into a geometric cathedral of light. Colonnade Soleil reimagines London's civic heart as a temple of pure colour theory, where classical columns become chromatic pillars that march toward a perfect orange sun suspended in turquoise infinity.

The familiar becomes fantastical as vertical stripes of amber and teal create rhythmic colonnades that frame the iconic clock tower. Figures move like shadows through this transformed landscape, dwarfed by the monumental scale of colour fields that divide the composition into precise geometric territories.

The orange disc — neither sun nor moon but pure chromatic statement — hovers as the focal point where all lines converge. Westminster's grandeur is preserved yet revolutionised, its democratic spaces reimagined as galleries of light and shadow.

Part of Signal Three, this piece explores how colour can transform civic architecture into something approaching the sublime. It suggests that even the most familiar symbols of power can be reimagined through the radical application of geometric abstraction.
