A Soho street becomes a vinyl groove. Groove Rue bends the carriageway into spiralling tracks of ebony and gold, as if the city could be played on a turn-table. A lone record, half-embedded in the tarmac, hints that sound is already spinning beneath our feet.

Pedestrians drift along the hypnotic runway while a black cab and distant double-deckers glide in sync, their movement scored by the invisible beat. Facades catch late-sun amber, refracted through the swirling surface into bars of rhythm and light.

Part of Signal Three, this composition asks how music alters space: can a groove redirect a street, or a melody rewrite memory? Groove Rue invites viewers to step into the LP, to let London revolve under the stylus of imagination.
