Westminster unfolds like a geological map. Strata Metropole stacks the Palace, Big Ben, and the Thames into alternating terraces of cream and burnt orange, as if the city were sliced into sedimentary bands of history and ambition. Modern towers puncture the skyline, casting vertical shadows that echo the horizontal layers below.

The river is recast as a sequence of stepped platforms, each tier reflecting light like polished stone. Parliament’s façade glows in sunset amber, transforming governance into a luminous fault line.

Part of Foundation Seven, this work explores the layered nature of power: monarchy, finance, and modern capital compressed into a single stratigraphy. Strata Metropole asks how many eras can sit on one bank—and how quickly the next layer forms.
